It will certainly be a merry Christmas for all of Lady Gaga's Little Monsters. Mother Monster herself will play Santa to all her fans when she presents them with an unreleased song on Christmas Day.
"Been racking my brain on what to get Little Monsters for Christmas!! I finally figured it out!!" Gaga tweeted on Thursday (December 22). "On Christmas Day I will leak to you an unreleased Song off Born This Way! It was recorded live, in one take, on the tour bus. Uncensored."
Gaga is currently in Japan, where she will be spending the holiday. "Well, I'll be in Japan right up until Christmas Day," Gaga told MTV News earlier this month. "So I'll be eating with all my Japanese Little Monsters. I like shabu shabu [a form of Japanese hot pot]."
On Tuesday, Gaga tweeted, "Sipping tea in Japan with Haus. Feeling so grateful. We sold about 1 million albums a month worldwide since the release of BORN THIS WAY."
That's not the only thing Gaga has to celebrate. She revealed via Twitter that she is "so happy" that "Hello, Hello," her duet with Elton John, is one of 39 tracks on the short list for a possible Oscar nomination in the Best Original Song category.
Lady Gaga, who was MTV News' Top Newsmaker of 2011, will be ringing in the new year in her hometown of New York. The "Marry the Night" singer, along with Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, LMFAO and Florence and the Machine, will watch the ball drop at the 40th annual "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve." The event will be hosted by Ryan Seacrest, with appearances by Fergie and Jenny McCarthy.

As she strolled to and from church services Sunday, Kate Middleton's Christmas fashion turned heads as expected - but not just for her magenta hat and coat.
Adding some holiday sparkle to her already fashionable display was a pair of stunning earrings just visible underneath the Duchess' (Jane Corbett designed) hat.
They are from Kiki McDonough, and were bought from the designer's store in London, England. Retail price: $3,000. A Christmas gift from Prince William, perhaps?
 The designer, who also made jewelry for Prince William's mother Diana, Princess of Wales, didn't want to comment at length but confirmed the pieces are hers - and that the stones consist of "green amethysts surrounded by diamonds on a diamond hoop."
It's not the first time Kate has worn McDonough's jewelry, either.
She has two other pairs of earrings from the store: pear shaped citrines hanging from an 18-carat gold hoops and white topaz studs surrounded by diamonds.
The 29-year-old Kate Middleton wore them both on her summer tour trip to Canada and America. All pieces are from the aptly-named "Grace collection."
She looks wonderful in them, no?

Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close star Sandra Bullock is finally opening up about the pain caused by Jesse James, whose infidelity ended their marriage early last year.
The 47-year-old Oscar winner admitted in a new interview that she thought she'd never return to acting following the debacle, believing she was “permanently broken.”
"I was perfectly content to be permanently broken," Bullock said of the 2010 scandal, which started with revelations that James bedded Michelle "Bombshell" McGee.The news of his rampant infidelity broke just days after Sandra Bullock won Best Actress for The Blind Side and gushed about James in her acceptance speech.
Bullock told the AP that eventually, director Stephen Daldry lured her back to set with a starring role, opposite Tom Hanks, in Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close.
"I didn't think I was in a place where I wanted to work or step out of where I was. I wasn't prepared. But the opportunity was louder than my head," she said.
Fortunately for her, and fans everywhere, she is no longer broken. In fact, she's in a better place professionally and personally, as a wonderful mom to Louis Bardot.

Madonna Badger, a famous New York City advertising executive, lost her three children and her parents when her waterfront mansion went up in flames yesterday.
Badger, who created the iconic Mark Wahlberg underwear ads for Calvin Klein, among other notable campaigns, and her friend Michael Borcina escaped the blaze.
Badger bought the Stamford, Conn., waterfront estate last year for $1.7 million. Borcina's construction company was renovating the home. Now it looks like this:

Steven Tyler is engaged to Erin Brady, according to reports.
TMZ spotted a rock on her finger this weekend and cites sources claiming it is in fact an engagement ring. It is a rather large diamond, for sure.
Tyler, 63, and Brady, 38, were in Maui on Christmas day along with her massive ring. It's unclear if Tyler proposed before or during the vacation.
